There were no emergencies in the Cliffs this week. Mount Zion had their weekly Bible study with one visitor, Rev.Dunn, from Ashdown. We were happy to see him and have him share with us,
Lela James called me this week she was feeling fine and showing her concern for others that are ailing, me being one of them. Bobby Crosslin is in the Wadley’s hospital, in Texarkana, Ark. and desires our prayers. Prayers are requested for the Crosslin family, they have gone through a rough patch the last two months. The Bible tells us, “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the week and not to please ourselves”. Romans 15; 1, which is extended to all our sick and shutmins.John Louis Johnson is home from the hospital recuperation.
Mount Zion Baptist Church will have a tribute to Black History during Sunday morning worship. Isaiah Germany, Jr., one of our teens will be sharing.
Mattie Hudgeon is planning a class get together for the class of 1956, from Howard County Training School. If you are a member of this graduating class and planning to attend the celebration or not, Mattie would like your updated Information for the memory book.
Kendra Jones-Winters, (Chicago), with close relatives in Schaal had a kidney transplant and is doing well. She told me there was a lot that goes along with the process, but with friends and family she is managing. Prayers are requested for her.
The family of Ms. Annie Reeves wishes to thank everyone for their great support and prayers during their grief at her homegoing.Everything was appreciated.
