Rodger Dale “Rod” Bizzell, age 49, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Friday, January 29, 2016 in Big Spring, Texas. He was born January 31, 1966 in De Queen, Arkansas to Raymond Dale and Gladys Bizzell. He was a superintendent at Guardian Energy. He was a father, Pepaw, son, brother and uncle. He loved to work, hunt, fish, golf and spend time with his daughter and granddaughter. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Dickson Dellinger; and a brother, Kenny Bizzell. He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Bizzell; a son, Justin Bryan; a granddaughter, Payge Bizzell; one love, Kim Bizzell; his parents, Dale and Nadine Bizzell, and James Dellinger; a sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Billy Keener; sister-in-law, DeAnne Bizzell; four step sisters, five step brothers; and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mr. Bizzell will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Lockesburg with Rev. Jerrel Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the Belleville Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
