NASHVILLE – On Jan. 25, the Howard County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call of a possible accidental death at 112 W. Lockesburg St. in Nashville. When officers arrived they found a 16-year-old white male unresponsive on the back porch. His mother was performing CPR on him. Howard County Ambulance Service arrived on the scene and transported him to the Howard Memorial Hospital. He was later air lifted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. At the time of this release he was in critical condition. Evidence collected at the scene appears that the injury was from self-inflicted asphyxiation.
