The National Honor Society chapter at Nashville High School is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen in Nashville.

Students at NHS will collect canned food and other non-perishable items through Dec. 14.

The organization invites community members to help them meet their goal of filling the pantry.  Donations may be delivered to the high school office or given to a student.

A competition is underway among first block classes for the largest quantity of food items donated. The winning class will get a sit down, homemade country breakfast with all the fixings, prepared by National Honor Society sponsor Fran Strawn.
