The National Honor Society chapter at Nashville High School is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen in Nashville.Â
Students at NHS will collect canned food and other non-perishable items through Dec. 14. Â
The organization invites community members to help them meet their goal of filling the pantry. Donations may be delivered to the high school office or given to a student.
A competition is underway among first block classes for the largest quantity of food items donated. The winning class will get a sit down, homemade country breakfast with all the fixings, prepared by National Honor Society sponsor Fran Strawn.Â
