Mr. James Edward Turner, 73 of Tollette, Arkansas died Sunday December 13, 2015 at Howard Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Mr. Turner was born January 23, 1942 in Howard County; was a member of Harmony Church of Christ,Sartoga, Arkansas and was a Volunteer Fireman for the Tollette Fire Dept. Survivors includes his wife, Christine Turner of Tollette; four so
ns, Bennie Floyd White, Jr. and Deon R. White both of Texarkana, Texas and Allyn E. Turner of Texarkana and Keith Turner of Tollette; two daughers, Velma K. Nelson of Saratoga and Vikki S. Langston of Tollette; one brother, Nathaniel Turner, of Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Jessean Dickerson of Tollette and Dorothy Hale of Greenville, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and number of other relatives. Service will be 1:00 P.M. ,Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Church of God, 946 Martin Luther King Dr., Hwy 355, Tollette, AR with Bro. Allyn Turner officiating.
Burial will be in Crofton Cemetery, Tollette under the directions of Lyles Funeral Home, Texarkana. Visitations hours will be 3:00-6:00 p.m., Friday at Lyles Funeral Home, Texarkana, Arkansas.
