A “deluge” of rain, and an
iffy calf market did not keep
ranchers from 5 states from
attending the Four States
Classic “Cream of the Crop”
stock cow sale at Hope Livestock
on Saturday Nov 28th.
The bleachers were fully
packed and the crowd overflowed
from under the tents
to view the strictly graded
sale hosted by LBJ Cattle
Company, Lanny Ford, Bart
Emerson, and Jeff Milam of
Hope.
“As usual, our crew did
an awesome job- most of the
cattle were loaded and gone
by 6 p.m. We felt like the sale
was a great success. We are
very grateful for the trust
placed in our organization,
and look forward to our next
sale.” said Jeff Milam.
Sellers represented at the
sale were Cottingham Farms,
Broken Horn Ranch, Todd
Brown, Riverbend Cattle,
Circle 4 Ranch, BK Cattle,
Milam Cattle, Wayne Griffeth,
JW Farms, Skipper Davis,
Diamond B Enterprises,,
CG Farms, BE Cattle, Cross
Farms, Chambless Farm, J &
J Cattle, Langston Farms, KG
Cattle, Raymond Robertson,
Brzeski Cattle, 3 B Cattle, Logan
Hostetler, SAU, Campbell
Cattle, and RLC.
“This sale offered as great
a set of females as I’ve ever
had the pleasure to sell.”
offered Auctioneer Lakin
Oakley. “From start to finish,
the quality was excellent.”
