Hunter graduated from
Dierks High School in 2001
and she is the daughter of
Ronald and Rhonda Hunter.
She received her business
degree right after
high school and worked
for Weyerhaeuser as a human
resources manager
at the Wright City Mill.
The mill shut down
and Hunter “opened her
own business then decided
teaching was really
where her heart was and
has gone back to school
at Henderson to get her
masters in teaching currently,”
Hunter’s sister,
Erin Hunter said. “She’s
taken and passed her
Praxis test to be able to
teach several subjects
including business and biology.”
Hunter has taught
business as a long term
substitute this past semester
at DHS.
