From left, library aides Allysob Chesshir and Jessica Murphy, and Nashville High School librarian Fran Strawn, are seeking help with some NHS yearbooks missing from the library and neecded for digitized copies. Strawn, with the help of student aides, is working on a project to digitize school yearbooks dating back to at least 1947 to the present. “A yearbook from 1947 is the earliest that we have found at the high school,” said Strawn. “If anyone has yearbooks earlier than 1947 and would be willing to let us borrow those, it would be greatly appreciated. They will be returned in the same condition that they were received.” In addition to yearbooks before 1947, the following years are being sought: 1949, 1950, 1951, 1954, 1955, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1967, 1972, 1974, 1979, 1980, and 1985. Persons who have any of the yearbooks are invited to contact Strawn at 870-845-3261, or drop the books off at the high school office.
