Sharon Roberson was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 25, 1944 to her parents, the late Dorothy and John Gross. Sharon went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 24, 2015 in Tyler, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of 35 years, Bob Roberson and her mother-in law Eunice Roberson. Sharon is also preceded in death by her sister Betty Rickert. Survivors include her two daughters Sheryl Brackett and husband Todd Brackett of Magnolia; Lisa Dixon and husband Mark Dixon of Tyler, Texas and one son Wade Roberson of Hot Springs. Eight grandchildren Justin Foster, Hayden Foster, Heath Brackett, Claire Dixon, John Dixon, Jonathan Roberson, Whitney Roberson and Ethan Roberson; sister Barbara Cichorz of LaPorte, Texas and brother John Gross and wife, Ruth of Grapevine, Texas. Sharon was also blessed with two great grandchildren, and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Sharon will be laid to rest at Biggs Chapel in Nathan, Arkansas. Services will be provided by Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
