Elden Eugene Hayden

Elden Eugene “Smokey” Hayden, 58, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 in Hot Springs.

He was born on Nov. 27, 1956 in Howard County, the son of the late Eugene Franklin Hayden and Rachel Earline Lockeby Hayden.

Smokey was a longtime employee for the city of Murfreesboro and was a Methodist. He was an avid Rattler football fan.

Memorial services will be on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Murfreesboro Cemetery with Bro.James Wainscott officiating.

Nevaeh Lynn Andrews

Nevaeh Lynn Andrews of Delight died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 in Little Rock,.

She was born Sept. 9, 2015 in Little Rock, the daughter of Robert and Amy Redmon Andrews.

Survivors include: two brothers, Kylan Howard and Jaxon Bell both of Delight; a sister, Eran Andrews of Delight.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015 in the Delight Cemetery with JJ Lee officiating under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.

Sharon Roberson

Sharon Roberson, 71, of Tyler, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015.

She was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., to the late John and Dorothy Gross.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Bob Roberson; and a sister, Betty Rickert.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sheryl Brackett and husband, Todd, of Magnolia, and Lisa Dixon and husband, Mark, of Tyler, Texas; a son, Wade Roberson of Hot Springs; a sister, Barbara Cichorz of LaPorte, Texas; and a brother, John Gross of Grapevine, Texas; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Biggs Chapel in Nathan, with services provided by Latimer Funeral Home. 

There will be a family visitation followed by family graveside services.

Mary Lynett Buck

Mary Lynett (Gert) Buck, 59 of McCaskill, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 in a Dallas hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1955 in DeAnn, Ark., the daughter of Dorothy Amos Hill and the late Reid Hill, Sr.

She was a member of the Word of Faith Church in Blevins.

Survivors include: her husband of 43 years, Charles Buck of McCaskill; a son, Heath Buck and wife, Shanna, of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Heather Clements and husband, Daniel, of Bodcaw; also grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Visitation was Friday, Oct. 23, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Union Grove Baptist Church in Blevins with Bro. Junior Little and Bro. James McCain officiating. Burial followed at Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Deselee Canaday

Deselee Canaday, 92, of Nash, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015.

She was born July 8, 1923 in Nashville, the daughter of the late James Calvin Walston and Lavada Self Walston.

She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Canaday; one son, Dewey Canaday; six brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include: a son, Rickey Canaday and wife, Nancy, of Alexander; a daughter, Cathey Burden and husband, Steve, of Nash; a brother, Harvey Walston, of Texarkana, Texas; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at County Line Cemetery in Nashville under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at her home at 130 Hickory St.; Nash, Texas from 6-8 p.m.
