According to their website, Cornerstone Recovery supports programs that involve both parents and teens in the process of reuniting splintered and broken families. They do this by providing healthy activities, parenting and teen personal growth education, and a culture of honesty and accountability.

They do this through Alternative Peer Groups, and Adventure Learning.

Shumate stated that they kids were enjoying their stay in Montgomery County and they were really enjoying the trails.
