NHS golf now in full swing

Competition continues for Nashville High School golfers.

The Scrappers and Scrapperettes competed at Isabella Golf Course Aug. 18.

Fountain Lake won the boys side with a score of 117.

Nashville was second at 131. Scores included Colin Parnell 44, Jordan Conant 41, Zach Jamison 46 and Preston Pope 60.

Mena was third at 142.

On the girls side, Sadie Prejean of Nashville was Medalist with a score of 46.

Nashville hosted a match Aug. 20 at the Nashville Country Club.

Fountain Lake won the boys division with a score of 122.

The Scrappers were second with 125. Scores include Jordan Conant 37, Colin Parnell 44, Zach Jamison 44 and Preston Pope 48.

Waldron was third, followed by the Nashville JV.

The JV scores included Austin Chambers 49, Andres Navarre 56 and Caleb Henry 65.

In the girls division, Sadie Prejean shot a 50 for Nashville.

The next match will be Thursday, Aug. 27, at Bauxite, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
