HOMEMADE TREATS … KB’S Sugar Shack opened last week inside Broadway Flea Market, located at 200 E. Broadway in Glenwood. The business will offer such tasty treats as cupcakes, caramel corn, fudge, brittle and cookies. On Friday mornings fried fruit pies will be available and on Saturday mornings fresh cinnamon rolls — baked that morning — can be purchased. Pictured (left) is business owners Heather Palmer and Karen Barlow along with Flea Market manager Sharon Shields. Palmer’s daughters, Abi and Allie, are standing in the front of the above mentioned trio. According to Barlow, the business operates under the 2011 Arkansas Cottage Law that allows for food sales that require no refrigeration or heating. “Everybody is welcome and will be treated with much kindness … we hope you can come do business with us,” said Barlow of the new location.
