Hughes, MaryMrs. Mary Rosetta Hughes, 78 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas died Friday August 28, 2015 at her home. She was born July 25, 1937 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the late Charles Curtis Hollingsworth and Frances Reynolds Hollingsworth. She was preceded in death by four brothers, J.C., Melvin, Sherman, and Eugene Hollingsworth; four sisters Velma Brown, Beth Hensley, Lilly Bell Calloway and Betty Matthews. She was a resident of the Nashville area for almost fifty years and attended Liberty Baptist Church. She loved being with family and friends, quilting, and fishing. She was loved by all, and famous for her cooking especially her homemade rolls. She is survived by her husband of sixty two plus years Franklin C. Hughes, a sister Wanda Romine of Eureka, California; three daughters and two son in laws; Judy and Jim Casey of Lowell; Fran Bledsoe of Dallas, Texas; Debbie and Roy Garris of Forestburg, Texas; one son and daughter in law Gary and Tyra Hughes of Nashville; eight grandchildren Vickie Niles, Lauren Collins, Davinia Archer, Todd Hughes, Jonathan Bledsoe, Abbie Cogburn, Johanna Butler, and Joshua Bledsoe; nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with Bro. Tim Freel officiating, burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
