COMPUTER WINNER … The culmination of the summer reading program at the Bainum Library and Learning Center saw Tori Partee selected as the winner of an Windows XP computer and games. Partee, pictured above with librarian Marge Melichar, was amongst the approximately 250 attendees over the summer to earn a ticket in the drawing. The library also held a Read-A-Thon fundraiser in which 4 young patrons collected sponsors to pledge money for 30 minutes of reading a day. Allie Palmer was the winner of the event that helped bring in $331 worth of books that was split between Palmer, the other three participants and the local library.
