Plans are currently underway by the Southeast Pike County Alliance for their 6th Annual Music Fest. The fest will be held in Delight on Saturday, September 26 at the Delight City Park. Gate admission will be $3 for adults and $1 for children.
Activities will kick off with a Kids Fun Run beginning at 9 a.m. at the school. After the run there will be games the park including: tricycle races at the basket ball court, adult bean bag baseball game and much more.
Music will begin at noon with Third Channel, at 2:30 p.m. the Bear Creek Boys will perform, followed by Red Tape at 5 p.m. and wrapping up the event will be Billstown at 7:30 p.m.
The Delight Branch of the Pike County Library will have authors available for a Super Signing. Authors will include Penny Richards, Diane Gates, Kacy Hart, William Woodall, KL Hughes and many more.
There will be drawing for door prizes and two $500 cash prizes. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the gate along with t-shirts.
Food and drinks will be available. Concessions will include fried jalapenos, popcorn, nachos, hamburgers and more.
