Ruth V. Pye, age 91 of Nashville, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 24, 2015 in Nashville. She was born December 23, 1923 in Eden, Texas to the late Alex and Ruth Bradford Mogelen. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith. In her earlier years, Ruth was very active in her church serving in many ways. She had taught the women’s adult Sunday school class for many years. She loved her flowers and working in her yard. She also loved to crochet. Family was very important to her she focused on her family giving her kids not what they needed, but usually what they wanted if it was possible. Preceding her in death was her husband, Horace Leon Pye; one son, Horace Glen Pye; two daughters, Linda Pye Bakke and Donna Pye Reber. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Janell Neece of Nashville; five grandchildren; Sherri and husband, Jim Bob Hockaday, Jenifer and husband, Jim Butler, Chris Burman, Alison Reber and Mason Reber; four great grandchildren; Corey Hockaday, Kelsey Hockaday, Kason Butler and Nathan Burman; and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas with Bro.
