Omer Ray “Cheesy” Kesterson, former Dierks resident, passed away June 2, 2015 at his residence in Achille, Oklahoma at the age of 56. He was born February 22, 1959 in Leonard, Texas to Leodis and Lorene Wilson Kesterson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Sue Riter and Phyllis Ann Cox; and one brother, Johnny Paul Riter. Mr. Kesterson is survived by one son, Jamie Kesterson of McLean, Texas; two sisters, Estella McCauley of Dierks and Linda Jo Parsons of Hot Springs; two brothers, Johnny Kesterson of Dierks and Delbert Riter of Mead, Oklahoma; a special friend, Arnold Lawson of Achille, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at Harmony Cemetery on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
