County Judge Sammy Jones is proud to announce that the Glenwood Solid Waste Pick up Station will be open this Wednesday for the residents of Montgomery County.
The station located approximately six miles north east of Glenwood on Pump Station Road just off Highway 70E. The station will be open wednesdays only from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
County residents will be able to dispose of class 1 household bagged trash. They will also be able to drop off cardboard, paper, metal and aluminum at the site.
The project was started under the guidance of former County Judge Alvin Black and was completed last week.
County Judge Sammy Jones commended JP Linda Jester for working hard to get the station built for the residents in the south east part of Montgomery County.
The judge emphasized that the station is only available to residents of Montgomery County.
