NASHVILLE – Two young men have been arrested in connection with break-ins earlier this week at two local schools and a local church.
According to statements from representatives of the Nashville Police Department, Lawrence E. Benson, Jr., 18, of Nashville, turned himself in to the Nashville police shortly after a report of the alleged burglaries at Immanuel Baptist Church, Nashville Primary School and Nashville Elementary School appeared in Monday’s edition of The Nashville News.
A second person, Deangelo Darnell Coulter, 20, of Nashville, was identified from physical and video evidence at the scenes of the break-ins, and arrested by Nashville police Tuesday afternoon.
The pair are being held at the Howard County jail, Benson on two counts of commercial burglary with a $10,000 bond, and Coulter on three counts of commercial burglary and a count of theft of property with a $50,000 bond.
