Joseph Cooper, 89, of McCaskill, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 16, 1925 in Prescott, AR, the son of the late Thomas Cooper and Zula (Nolan) Cooper. He was a welder with Cooper Wellhead and member of the Ball Chapels Church of Christ in McCaskill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Wardlaw. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Cooper of McCaskill, and Stephen Cooper of Splendora, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Hoosier of McCaskill, and Kellie Swanke of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Harris Cemetery in McCaskill with John Ross officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. A sympathy message may be sent to www.latimerfuneralhome.com.
