Dermatology satellite clinic coming to HMH

Howard Memorial Hospital has announced the addition of a Dermatology Satellite Clinic beginning Aug. 4, located in the Medical Office Building at 119 Medical Circle.

Dr. Martin Johnson of The Dermatology Clinic in Hot Springs will be conducting the clinic on the first and third Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This was an identified need in our 2015 Community Health Needs Assessment.

Dr. Johnson received his doctorate in medicine from Louisiana State University. He completed his dermatology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center and subspecialty training in Immunodermatology at the University of Colorado. A Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, he is certified in both Dermatology and Immunodermatology. He practiced in the US Air Force, serving as Chief Dermatology Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for five years, and retired at the rank of Colonel.

Dr. Johnson is a member of numerous professional organizations. He specializes in general and surgical dermatology, with special interests in skin cancer, Micrographic surgery, infectious diseases and inflammatory diseases (psoriasis, eczema, Lupus, autoimmune and similar disorders).
