The Bainum Library & Learning Center would like you to mark your calendar now for the Thursdays in July Summer Reading Program from 10:00 am-noon, with a story, craft and lunch. This year the theme will be ‘Every Hero has a Story’. All ages welcome.

AMITY ADULT EDUCATION
Summer classes for the Amity Adult Education program will be held Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m.-noon and 4-7 p.m. For more information call 870-342-5374 or AAE 870-246-1104.

NORMAN LIBRARY
Starting April 15, 2015, the Norman Public Library will have new business hours. We will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-4 pm each day. The Library has a wide variety of books for all ages. We have two computers and printer for public use. I want to encourage everyone to come in and check us out. We look forward to seeing you at our Norman Library.

THE 3RD ANNUAL BUNCO BASH
The 3rd annual Bunco Bash, held by the Junior Auxiliary will be on Sunday July 28th. This year’s theme is “Hog Wild about Bunco”. Wear your favorite Razorback attire and join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship. Kickoff will be at 2:00 at the Murfreesboro Community Center. We will be serving all your game day favorite foods. Cost of admission is $20.00. Proceeds will fund our annual Junior Auxiliary scholarship. Vacation Bible School at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kirby. Saturda,y July 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Come and enjoy Camp Courageous. Teens welcome!!!

REVIVAL
Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church @ Langley July 26-30, 2015. Evangelist: Tommy Oglesby, Pastor: Scott Feemster. 7:30 p.m. nightly (Meal each night–6:30 p.m.) Tuesday night-Youth night Specials Welcome!

CIRCLE CROSS COWBOY CHURCH
Play Day, July 26, 2015 at Pike County Fair grounds. Books open @3 p.m., Play day will start @ 4 p.m. Books will close for the event after the first horse has ran. Entry fee will be $3 per event. Events: Barrel 1-4 Pee Wee, flags 5-10, speed 11-15 Jr., fun event 16 & up. Top 5 get ribbons. We will also have a consession stand that will be serving BBQ sandwiches. HIPPY – HOME INSTRUCTION FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL YOUNGSTERS
Enroll now for this FREE program for parents of children who have turned 3, 4 or 5 years old by Dec 31st, 2015 and live in Glenwood/Amity/Montgomery County.Families that do not receive any preschool services are our target, but we CAN serve children attending ABC Classrooms/Head Start or pre-kindergarten.The HIPPY program is designed for parents to become “their child’s first teacher”. Parents are taught in their home 1 hour per week for 30 weeks. Then parents teach the lesson to their children. Families receive free books, supplies and curriculum. FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES LADIES’ AUXILIARY
Will be hosting a flea market and car show on August 8, 2015. Flea market starts at 8:00 am. tables are available for rent-1st table $10.00 & $5.00 each additional table. Car show starts at 9:00 am with “People’s Choice” 1st and 2nd place awarded. Car show is free to public but we have unique voting so please bring cash. Grilled Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for sale at 10:00 am. Proceeds will be donated to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. For more information call 870-845-2590 after 5:00 pm.

BACK TO SCHOOL BASH
Saturday,August 1 in the Centerpoint High School cafeteria starting at 8 a.m. The event will be hosted by Amazing Faith Ministries. Each member of household may get a bag to fill up with clothing needed (so it will be ideal for each member of household to attend).

BETHEL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church invites kids ages 4-Teen to join us for Camp Courageous Vacation Bible School,

JESUS NAME PEACE TABERNACLE
123 Elm Street in Mont Ida, will host a children’s revival and back-to-school kickoff on Saturday August 8 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 9 at 2 p.m. On August 8 attendees will receive a chance to win a bike at the Sunday service and receive school supplies; on August 9 there will be a drawing for one girl’s and one boy’s bike along with school supplies giveaway and a bouncy house after service with food and drinks.
