John G. Jones, 36, of Greenville, South Carolina. formerly of Murfreesboro, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Greenville, South Carolina. He was born on May 29, 1979 in Murfreesboro, the son of Billy Jones and Gloria Sweeden. He was a US Army Veteran and worked for Verizon. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Preston and Elice Sweeden, and Harold and Sue Jones. Survivors include his father, Billy Jones and wife, Kaye of Nashville; his mother, Gloria Bagwell and husband, Jerry of Murfreesboro; a number of uncles, aunts, and good friends. Memorial service will be on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saline Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
