Dessie Vinnie Sharp, 93 of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Nashville.  She was born on August 4, 1921 in Nathan, Arkansas the daughter of the late Rueben Reed and Donie (Chandler) Reed. She was a member of the Nathan Church of Christ, and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Sharp; daughter, Juanita Shaw; and three sisters, Gracie Westfall, Hazel Sharp, and Bessie Jo Anderson. Survivors include, two sons, Ray Sharp and Jerry Sharp; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hollis Reed and Perry Reed; and three sisters, Alva Anderson, Dorothy Davis, and Reuben Kelm. Services will be on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville.  Burial to follow at Academy Cemetery in Nathan under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. A sympathy message may be sent to www.latimerfuneralhome.com.
