Joe Miller, Jr. was born April 17, 1942 in Howard County to the late Joe and Girthalene Miller. He departed this life Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the John L. McClellan Veteran Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Joe served many years in the United State Uniformed Service. He also worked for Tyson Foods for 14 years until his health failed. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Miller and Dr. Reynold Miller. He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, Lloyd (Devorah) Miller of Tollette; three sons, Scotty Miller of Orange County, California, Steven Miller and Stanley Miller of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Shalon Miller of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Shena Miller of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nehews, relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Hicks Memorial Chapel for funerals, 407 South Hazel Street, Hope. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
