Jimmy Lee Trotter, age 64, passed away, May 6, 2015 Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born on September 12, 1950 in Nashville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Addie Mae Benson and Dave Trotter; a brother; a sister; and grandparents. He is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Jones; two grandchildren, Shania and Jaylan Roberson; two great-grandchildren, Ka’Mario and Jurnee Greenwell all of Flint, Michigan; two sisters, Tangie Benson of Duncanville, Texas and Vickie Swift of Nashville; three brothers, Clarence and Marlon of Nashville and Michael Benson of Wrightsville; two aunts; two uncles; and a very special nephew and niece. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday,May 16, 2015 in the New light CME Church in Nashville. Burial will be Benson Cemetery in Ozan. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at the funeral home.Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
