The Good Ol' Days Festival returns to town May 22-23 as Mount Ida and Montgomery County kicks off summer with style.
The Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to come to the courthouse square May 22 and 23 to enjoy live music, food, games, vendor booths and a car show.
Things kick off Friday, May 22, with live music on the Front Porch Stage. Salt Creek Road and New Level Ground will provide Gospel music for everyone to enjoy.
Saturday things kick off in the morning with the car show sponsored by the Mount Ida Youth Sports Association and the Montgomery County Athletic Association. Cars of all shapes, sizes and models will fill the square for everyone to see. There will also be plenty of food and fun for everyone throughout the day. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. with the festival to continue until 5 p.m.
Mike Mayberry and the Slowhands will be the feature act Saturday night on the Front Porch Stage.
