Students learned how political processes works, attended legislative committee meetings and met with their community’s lawmakers.
“It is important for students to understand how the political process works so that they understand how to change things that are wrong and understand the value of citizenship,” said Erika Buenrrostro, SDA Staff Sponsor.
During this time students met with local House Representative DeAnn Vaught and Senator Larry Teague.
