scrapper starARKADELPHIA – The Nashville Scrapperettes earned a massive win against the Arkadelphia Lady Badgers Thursday afternoon, tripling the score the Lady Badgers put up.

The game began with both teams coming out strong. The two teams each posted two runs in the first, and Arkadelphia pulled ahead with an additional run in the second. That did not stand long, as the Scrapperettes began a hitting series in the top of the third that resulted in four runs for the inning, setting the score Nashville 6-3.
The score held at that into the fifth, when Nashville posted another run and the Lady Badgers ran in two.
The rest of the game was all for the Nashville girls, as they brought home five in the sixth inning and three in the seventh, for a final score of Nashville 15-5.
Brookelyen Cox was again the top swatter for the Scrapperettes, a role that she is coming to habitually hold, with three hits and a massive six RBIs in three at bats, while Brittany Hilliard was very effective from the dish, allowing only five hits in five innings.
The Scrapperettes next see action this afternoon against the Fountain Lake Lady Cobras in Hot Springs.
