bookPRESCOTT — Author Charity Lowdermilk announces the nationwide release of her new book, “The Treasure,” where she shares a delightful story about three brothers’ treasure-hunting adventure.
In “The Treasure,” Jordan and his older brother, John Caleb, want to find diamonds — lots and lots of shiny, white diamonds! Their baby brother, Eli, just wants to explore — crunchy dog food, mooing cows and gooey mud are far more interesting. But will the boys find the treasure they seek? Inspired by an actual trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, a mom and her three sons discover true treasure one hot summer day.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Lowdermilk was born and raised in Southwest Arkansas, where she currently resides with her husband and three sons. She obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, in 1996. In between trips to the diamond mine with the boys, she completed her master’s degree in nursing science from UAMS in 2014.
