001Patrick King Moore, age 75 of Nashville, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 20, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He was born April 15, 1940 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to the late Cecil C. and Rosella R. King Moore.
He was a retired Tool & Die Maker as well as an accomplished Machinist. He had a very inventive mind, always trying to figure out how to make things work better. He could fix anything, from working on his cars, to making gadgets for his wife to use, even making things for his pets, such as their pens and the equipment needed to raise them in comfort. He loved riding motorcycles, playing poker, fishing, drawing, and working on his farm and in his yard. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and was of the Catholic Faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a younger brother, Paul Moore; and two granddaughters, Josie Elizabeth and Shawnda Davis.
His survivors include the love of his life for over 53 years, his wife, Linda Pennington Moore of Nashville; three daughters, Denise and husband, Scott Gierhart of Hobe Sound, Florida, Cindi and husband, David Street of El Paso, Texas and Diane and husband, Jimmy Davis of Breckenridge, Texas; one brother, Jim Moore of Downey, California; one sister, Joann McDaniel of South Haven, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Beth Meyer, Jessica and husband, Brandon Reyes, Stuart and wife, Chantelle Meyer, Michael Street, Kate Gierhart, Jessica Davis, J.D. Davis and his fiancée, Paola Mendoza and Brianna Davis; three great grandchildren, Savannah Meyer, Jacob Meyer and Jase Davis; very close friends, David and wife, Sidney Franz of Goodyear, Arizona; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Nashville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ouachita Regional Hospice or to the Hydrocephalus Association.
