Our dearly loved and respected daddy, Burl Bradley “Pat” Brown, of Norman, left us Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the age of 77. He was born May 16, 1937, in Dover, Arkansas, the son of Burl Brown and Evylyn Gerradot Brown. He married our mother, Jacqueline Burris Brown on January 12, 1958. Before they divorced, sixteen years later, they became the parents of two daughters, Jackie Allison and Ginger Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and four sisters. He was also widowed twice after he moved to Norman; his wife, Nina Jean Cowart Brown, and lastly, Evelyn Owens Ball Brown.

He was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Hot Springs. Pat was in construction for over forty years and owned and operated Pat Brown Construction in Hot Springs. Later he retired to his cattle farm, where everyone always loved to visit their Papah at the farm, making so many memories to hold in their hearts. He truly was the meaning of a caring and devoted man and he loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart.

Our daddy left a wonderful legacy of two daughters, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: his daughters, Jackie Allison Brown Waggoner, and her husband, Ronnie G. of Norman, and Ginger Lee Brown Eaton, and her husband, Thomas “Tom” of Adairsville, Georgia. Allison has two children, her son, Joshua Paul Lingo, and his wife Brandi, and he has one son and daughter; her daughter, Brandee Allison Weston, and her husband Justin, and they have three sons. Ginger and Tom have four daughters, Aimee Cook, and her husband, Dr. Shay Cook of North Carolina, and their son and daughter, Jill Elaine Conrad, and her husband, Steve of Adairsville, Georgia and their son and daughter, Elizabeth Grace Eaton and Katelyn Carol Eaton, both of the home.

He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Betty Brown of Pocahontas; the mother of his children, Jacqueline Burris Brown of Norman; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Robby Loudermilk and Bro. Tom Eaton officiating.
