ollegiate Shooting Competition in Tillar. The two U of A Hope-Texarkana Shooting Teams, placed 2nd in American Trap, 4th in American Skeet and International Bunker, and 6th in Five Stand shotgun competitions. There were 9 college teams from six colleges participating in the competition including University of Arkansas, U of A Hope-Texarkana, University of the Ozarks, Lyon College, Arkansas State University, and Ecclesia College. UACCH-T team member Taylor Teague was named the high point shooter out of 43 competitors at the 2015 Arkansas Collegiate State Clays Championship. Teague, who is pursuing a certificate in welding at U of A Hope, is from Nashville, Arkansas, where he competed in shooting sports in high school. Teague was eager to join the shooting sports club and compete at the collegiate level.  He is a great example of how students in southwest Arkansas have excelled in shooting sports and are excited to compete at the college level. The College team, sponsored by Smiles of Arkansas and the National Shooting Federation, competed over spring break in San Antonio, Texas, at the ACUI Collegiate Championship.
