Judge Mack proclaims National Junior Auxiliary Week in Pike County

Pike County Judge Dewight Mack signs a proclamation declaring April 5-11, 2015 as National Junior Auxiliary Week in Pike County, sponsored by the National Association ofJunior Auxiliaries, Inc. The proclamation urges all citizens, civic and fraternal groups, news media and other community organizations to salute the JA volunteers. The JA of Pike County is a Chapter of the 74-year-old National Associaton of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc. The organization represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive participants in the community and to assume responsible leadership in meeting community needs. They render charitable services beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children, and work with other organizations to reach these goals. Read a report from the JA on page 2.
