JAmerican-flagesse Cochran, 87, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Nashville.

He was born on June 23, 1927 he son of the late James Cochran and Mary Ettie (Lee) Cochran.

Mr. Cochran was a member of the American Legion, a US Army veteran, and member of the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Bernice McLaughlin Cochran; and siblings.

Survivors include:  two sons, Roy Cochran and wife, Vicki of Bartlett, Tennessee and Loy Cochran and wife, Jeannie of Nashville; grandsons, Robbie Cochran and wife, Rena of Nashville, Daniel Cochran and wife, Cassie of Mt. Vernon, Texas; granddaughters, Clara Pope and husband, Josh of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Emily Sanders and husband, Justin of Arlington, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Katie Cochran, Jarrod Cochran, Christina Cochran, Isaac Cochran, Carson Pope, and Cameron Pope; and a host of other relatives and friends mourn his passing.

Services will be on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville.    Burial to follow in Nashville Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southern Children’s Home in Morrilton, Arkansas.
