dove-with-branch-clip-artLinda Kay Privitt, age 50, left her life on earth and entered into her eternal heavenly home on Friday, March 20, 2015. She was born June 4, 1964 in Madigan Army Hospital at Tacoma, Washington to Ferdia Jane and Glyndell Privitt. Linda had to overcome many mountains. For most of her life she had multiple disabilities caused by a brain tumor, strokes, and their complications. However, she made the best of every situation and was content in whatever state she was in. She loved the Lord, family, and friends. Her happiest time was living in Howard County Children’s Center Women’s Home and attending their workplace. Reunion Plaza Nursing Center in Texarkana, Texas was her home for the last 16 1/2 years. She holds the distinction of being their longest residing resident. There was much real love between her and Reunion’s caregivers, other residents, and their families. Dierksen Hospice, Christus St. Michael, Dr. Nancy Griffin, Dr. Malcolm Smith, and Dr. Jerry Stringfellow also blessed her with medical care and personal love. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ella Vea and Jeff Jackson of Murfreesboro Arkansas, paternal grandparents Ethel and Cessna Privitt of Nashville, Arkansas, and her dad Glen Privitt of Texarkana, Texas. She is survived by mother and daddy Ferdia Jane and Cecil House of Texarkana, Arkansas; sister Anita Privitt Milroy of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Anita’s children Krystal Moore of Hot Springs and Bradley Moore of Nashville, Arkansas; step mom Sissy Privitt of Texarkana, Texas; stepbrother Wayne House and wife Tina of Albany, Louisiana, their sons Corey and wife Dusty of Hope, Arkansas, Tanner, Brandon, and J. T. of Albany, Louisiana, aunts and uncles Ann and Sammy Jackson of Mineral Springs Arkansas; Melva and David Linzy of Hope, Arkansas; Jeanie and Lloyd Hill of Kilgore, Texas; many other relatives, friends, and her Reunion Plaza family. Memorial services will be 1:00 P M Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas 4801 Parkway Dr. Texarkana, Arkansas, with Bro. Ken Guthrie and Mark Eakin officiating. Burial will be in College Hill Cemetery near Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 P. M. to 1:00 P. M. Pallbearers are David Linzy, Lloyd Hill, Bradley Moore, Mark Ford, Hunter Doss and Chase Doss.
